A financial audit for the 2017-2018 fiscal year reflects the “darkest days” of the Dawson County Hospital District’s recent financial crisis, according to hospital board Chairman Cris Norris.
A summary of the audit, for the fiscal year which ended March 31, 2018, was presented to the district’s board of directors Thursday evening by Tommy Davis with the accounting firm of Durbin and Co.
That audit had been presented in further detail at an earlier meeting of the district’s finance committee.
