Students from Borden County High School in Gail came home with multiple medals – including several gold ones – from the Texas University Interscholastic League State Academic and Speech Contest.The state contest was held May 17 and 18 at the University of Texas - Austin.Borden County swept the top two individual places in Class 1A Current Issues and Events and also captured first place as a team in that contest.Koda Bigham captured first-place honors in that event, with teammate Bailey Pennell finishing second.They were joined by Keller Estes in seventh place and Kallan Kuehler in eithh place to take top ...
