The Class 1A high schools surrounding Lamesa will be well represented in the University Interscholastic League regional academic and one-act play competitions this coming Friday and Saturday at South Plains College in Levelland. Borden County and Sands are two of the six remaining schools from Region I who will be vying on Saturday at Jones Theater for an opportunity to advance to state in one-act play.
