Davis named city manager BROWNFIELD – What was semantically fleeting is no longer as the Brownfield City Council removed the interim tag from Jeff Davis’ title. The action came during Thursday’s regular council meeting when a unanimous vote officially made Davis city manager after serving in that capacity for the past several weeks on an interim basis.
