Two men hold stabbing suspect at gunpoint until police arrive
ANDREWS – The female victim of a Tuesday night stabbing incident in the Andrews Post Office parking lot ran across the street to a convenience store seeking help after sustaining the wound, while two apparent passersby held the male subject at gunpoint until officers arrived, according to police.
Police took over when they showed up and arrested the suspect—an Andrews man—who was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Andrews Police Chief Ronny McCarver said.
The police chief couldn’t provide the suspect’s identity as of late Tuesday night.
