Construction on Pilot Travel Center will begin in mid-July
ANDREWS – An old structure at 1103 South Main Street is being demolished to make way for construction of a Pilot Flying J Travel Center, company officials said. Groundbreaking on the $5 million project should begin in mid-July, according to Pilot Construction Manager David Kimbrough.
The local Pilot Travel Center will include a standard PJ Fresh Marketplace restaurant, along with a Dunkin’ Donuts business, Kimbrough said.
“We’re looking at probably the second week of July to break ground,” Kimbrough noted. “It should open around late October.”
