SNYDER – “We have had another death that’s COVIDrelated, so that brings our number to 10,” Scurry County Judge Dan Hicks said in a brief video statement Friday afternoon. Hicks added that the deceased is a 60-70-year-old male. In addition to the new death, Hicks said the county saw 13 new positive COVID cases and 16 new recoveries Friday. Active cases of COVID-19 in the county total 108, total recovered are 414 and there have been 532 cases year-to-date.
