Two years ago Brownfield and Terry County citizens celebrated 85 years of rodeos and for 86 years Brownfield and Terry County have had a rodeo, however this 87th year might be a no go as the COVID-19 virus and the economy has halted another event.
Brownfield City Manager Jeff Davis said, “The people who run the rodeo did not come in and ask for Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) funds money this year. So I guess we’re not going to have a rodeo this year.”
