Thanks to strong finishes at the recent Area II contest, the Lamesa FFA Chapter will be sending two teams to compete in the FFA Leadership Development Events state competition which begins Friday at Sam Houston State University. Members of the Public Relations Team which placed first in Area are Laynie Swafford, Morgan Coomer, Katey Fletcher and Hannah Meeks. The Agricultural Advocacy Team, which placed second at Area, consists of Tatum Treadwell, Lori Cardona, Kiersten Stewart and Madeline Poage.
