Sandra Adams will be leaving her “retirement job,” which she started a few days after retiring as a teacher from the Lamesa ISD, to actually retire at the end of July.
She has served as president of the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce for the past nine years.
“I’m looking forward to being able to spend more time with my grandchildren and great-grandchild,” Adams said, “as well as taking road trips with family and friends to different locations throughout the United States.”
