Some walked. Some ran. One man did both while pushing a baby stroller. No matter how they accomplished it, they crossed the finish line after completing the 5K run during the 11th annual Chicken Fried Steak Festival April 24 in Forrest Park. Proceeds from the race benefited Adoptable Pets of Lamesa, an organization that finds new homes for lost or abandoned dogs and cats.
