Although Election Day officially isn’t until Tuesday, more than one-third of all registered voters in Dawson County already have cast their ballots in the general election. Election offcials reported 2,441 of the county’s 7,102 registered voters went to the courthouse to cast their ballots during the three-week early voting period which ended Friday.
