More than 140 residents of Dawson County currently have active cases of COVID-19, according to the latest information available from the South Plains Public Health District. While Dawson County had been recording an average of age of more than 10 new cases of the virus daily over the past couple of weeks, the health district reported only two new cases here Wednesday.
