As Dawson County’s COVID count passed the 100 mark on Friday, Lamesa’s mayor made a passionate plea for everyone to remain respectful of each other about wearing or not wearing masks.
Mayor Josh Stevens was responding to reports he has heard of sharp public conflicts over the mask issue, which has been controversial here and elsewhere.
