The contents of a large metal welding shop at 1706 North 2nd Street were considered a total loss in a fire that was reported just before 7:30 p.m. Sunday. “There was nothing salvageable inside the building,” Firefighter Levi Roberts told the Press-Reporter. “I don’t know if there was any structural damage to the building itself, but it will have to be re-skinned with new metal.” Jamie Garcia was listed as owner of the building.
