A few construction projects at Lamesa ISD’s campus currently are underway and other plans for improvements are being finalized. Superintendent Jim Knight said the school district received feedback about the design of the new building from the career and technology teachers who will work there when it is completed. The success academy and life skills buildings have been fully designed already, Knight said. The completed plans for all three projects will be sent to the construction manager after they are approved by the board in the coming weeks.
