Final preparations are underway for the Lamesa Rotary Club Scholarship Banquet that will take place at 7 p.m. this Friday at the Forrest Park Community Center Bryan Nowlin, who is helping to organize the banquet, said preparations for the event’s food, entertainment and decorations are “going well.” Nowlin said “ticket sales are a little slower than we’d like,” but he hoped to get a good update on the topic at the Rotary Club’s noon meeting on Wednesday.
