Any qualified resident who plans to file as a candidate in the city, school or hospital elections only has one more week in which to complete and submit an application. The filing of candidates for mayor of the City of Lamesa, two places on the Lamesa school board and three places on the Dawson County Hospital District board will continue until Friday, Feb. 15.
