Anyone interested in filing as a candidate for the District 4 seat on the Lamesa City Council has until this coming Monday to complete an application. To file as a candidate, a person must be a resident of the city but is not required to actually live within District 4. Three candidates – Rob Parker, Lydia Aguilar and Dore Evan Rodriguez – already have filed for the Saturday, May 4 Special Election of the city.
