All Farm Service Agency (FSA) offices nationwide soon will reopen to provide additional administrative services to farmers and ranchers during the lapse in federal funding, according to an announcement on Tuesday afternoon by U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue.
Certain FSA offices, including the Dawson County FSA office in Lamesa, have been providing limited services for existing loans and tax documents since last Thursday and were to continue to do so through today (Wednesday).
Beginning this Thursday, Jan. 24, however, all FSA offices will open and offer a longer list of transactions they will accommodate.
