Four people were sentenced to serve time in the state prison system as a result of proceedings in 106th District Court here this past Wednesday. Daniel Mike Abeyta, age 32, pleaded guilty to three different felony charges and was ordered by District Judge Reed Filley to serve time behind bars in all three cases. Abeyta was sentenced to serve five years in prison on a conviction for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
