A little over two weeks remain for anyone interested in representing District 4 on the Lamesa City Council to file as a candidate in the upcoming May 4 election.
Two persons – Rob Parker and Lydia Aguilar – already have signed up as candidates for that election.
Applications for potential candidates are available in the office of City Secretary Betty Conde. The completed application is due back in Conde’s office no later than March 25.
To file as a candidate, a person must be a resident of the city but is not required to live within District 4.
