The position for a Texas AgriLife Extension Agent - FCH (Family and Community Health) in Dawson County has been vacant for two-and-a-half years.
But, that soon could change, since the Dawson County Commissioners Court on Tuesday gave County Extension Agent Gary Roschetzky permission to notify the District Extension Agent that the county now wants to fill that position.
“I’ve been talking with the DEA (District Extension Agent) about opening up the position,” Roschetzky said, “but in order to open it at the state level I need the approval of the Commissioners Court.”
