The eighth annual Walk for Williams was held last Saturday at the south balloon field east of Forrest Park. Abigail Ramford, local coordinator, said this year’s turnout was the smallest in the eight years the event has been held in Lamesa. She said a walk was held in Lubbock this year, the change in location for Lamesa’s walk and overcast skies probably all contributed to the low turnout.
