The City of Lamesa is sponsoring a Town Hall meeting with Senator Kevin Sparks.The meeting is scheduled from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Sept. 26 at the Forrest Park Community Center at 900 S. Houston Ave.Sparks, a Republican businessman, was elected to State Senator for District 31 in the 2022 races.He won the seat after Republican incumbent Kel Seliger announced his retirement after serving almost two decades as state senator.Sparks won the seat after defeating three other Republican candidates in the primary race.
