Sands Junior High at Ackerly won the district one-act play competition last weekend, finishing ahead of O’Donnell and Grady. Sands performed scenes from Anatomy of Gray, with a number of the Sands students earning individual honors. Named to the all-star cast from Sands were Presley Goodman, Keller Doster, and Evan Lucio. Receiving honorable mention all-star cast honors were Kevin King, Myah Heald and Madison Hataway. Hayley Connell was recognized as a member of the allstar crew.
