Vanessa Marie Ruiz and Julius Angel De La Cruz are engaged to be married on May 11 in Lamesa with friends and family. Vanessa, the bride-elect, is the daughter of Elizabeth Castaneda and Martin Ruiz. She is the granddaughter of Esquiel and Rebecca Castaneda. Julius is the son of Felix and Teresa De La Cruz and the grandson of Emma and Miguel Mejia, as well as Jose and Clara Trevino.
