Lucky Scarlett Olivas, a 2017 Lamesa High School graduate, hit another milestone in her academic career when she was named to the president’s honor roll in Texas Tech University’s (TTU) nursing program.Lucky was also named Dean Ambassador for the TTU Health Science School of Nursing.She is the daughter of Sandra Longoria of Lamesa and Humberto Olivas of Seminole.As ambassador, Lucky will be representing the university as new students attend orientation and get acclimated to campus life.Lucky is currently working on her second bachelor’s degree at TTU.
