O’Donnell ISD and Dawson ISD in Welch were among those school districts that competed in the Elementary and Junior High District Academic UIL meet at Wellman-Union ISD on Tuesday, Nov. 13, and Wednesday, Nov. 14. The grand champion of the event was Ropes, which earned a total of 2,005 points across the elementary and junior high categories. Wellman Union placed second with 1,196.3 points in both divisions, and O’Donnell placed third with 982.6 total points. Loop had 630 points across both categories.
