Matthew Hernandez opened his bakery, Lucy’s Flour Shop, a year ago. Due to the pandemic, Hernandez had to hold off on an offi cial ribbon cutting at his bakery at 316 N. Austin Ave. This past Thursday, Hernandez and his soon-to-be wife and partner, Heather Hernandez, along with their family, friends and that fi rst customer, joined with Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce offi cials for the red ribbon cutting.
