Contributions for the local Lights of Love program continue to be accepted at 15 locations in Lamesa. The Lights of Love effort provides Christmas gifts for children of needy families during the days leading up to Christmas. Donations of new gifts for children from birth to age 18 can be placed until Dec. 12 in tubs provided by the Dawson County Child Welfare Board at various locations.
