Every year once school is out, Lamesa High School’s (LHS) drama students are out raising funds to pay for summer camp.Similar to previous years, LHS theater students are putting on weekend car washes and bake sales to raise the money to attend the Texas Tech Theater Camp in Lubbock July 1020.They have little over a month to raise the $7,700 to send 11 students to camp.They must make the payment in full by the July 10 deadline.The $950 total cost for each student includes their dorm stays, food and 10 days of camp.“We’vegotenoughmoney to make their ($250) deposits now,” said ...
