Two Lamesa High School (LHS) barbecue teams and teams from area schools are taking their recipes to the next level with state competition in the spring.Lamesa’s Rolling Smokes and Hog Fathers team members are going to state competition April 29-30 in the Dell Diamond Stadium in Round Rock.The LHS teams took on 19 other high school barbecuing teams during a regional competition held Saturday in the high school parking lot adjacent to the Career and Technology Education building Saturday.“It went well.
