Lamesa’s annual Trunk or Treat event will be held around the downtown courthouse square from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Halloween evening this coming Thursday. Last year about 2,500 children participated in the event, and organizers hope to have even more this year. This year’s Truck or Treat is sponsored by the Lamesa Chamber of Commerce and Lamesa Parent, Teacher, Student Organization.
