Aaron Tejeda, grandson of Lamesa resident Gloria Tejeda, was featured this past week in Texas Tech Today, the official news source for Texas Tech University. The story by Amanda Castro-Crist was titled, “Profiles in Fostering a Diverse and Inclusive Community: Aaron Tejeda.” Aaron shared his experiences as a first-generation college student and an undergraduate researcher in the Texas Tech McNair Scholars Program.
