Representatives of Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas (LANWT) will be in Lamesa this week to offer a free legal clinic for low-income residents. That clinic will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church, 409 North 3rd Street. Free legal help will be offered on civil matters only, including family law, SNAP/TANF/CHIPS, employment issues, wills and end-of-life documents, home ownership, landlord-tenant issues, Social Security, consumer matters and IRS issues.
