The title of 2020 Lamesa Rodeo Queen is being sought by four young ladies from the area. Seeking the title are Skylyn Calderon, Hannah Clark, Eileen Martinez, and Gretchen Proctor. Like usual, the candidates are selling admission tickets for the three-day Lamesa Rodeo scheduled for July 30 through Aug. 1. The winner will be announced the first night of the rodeo and will be presented the crown by the 2019 Lamesa Rodeo Queen, Allison Hutchings.
