Queens will be crowned in two age categories during the Fiestas Patrias celebration hosted here next weekend by the local Knights of Columbus. The Little Miss Fiesta and Miss Teen Fiesta both will be announced at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 14. Scheduled for both Friday and Saturday, the Fiesta also will feature a variety of musical entertainment, food booths, a parade, raffle and softball tournament. The Fiesta serves as a fundraiser for the scholarships which the Knights of Columbus awards each year to graduating high school seniors in Lamesa and the surrounding area.
