The deadline for families applying to the Lights of Love campaign and ensuring their kids have something from Santa Christmas morning ends Monday.Parents or guardians can apply for that assistance by calling the West Texas Opportunities’ (WTO) office at (806) 872-8354 to make an appointment and fill out an application.The Dawson County Child Welfare Board, sponsors of Lights of Love, will review those applications.The Lights of Love campaign collects unwrapped, new toys and clothing for newborns up to age 18 from community donors.
