Halloween is a time when people often put on masks, but it is certain to be even more so this year during the COVID-19 pandemic. Going forward with plans to host the annual Fall Festival and Trunk or Treat, the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce is asking that everyone wear masks to the Halloween event on the downtown square. “Basically it’s going to be the same as in the past, but we’ll have areas with hand-sanitizing wipes available and we do request that people wear a mask,” said Chamber President Karen Mize.
