Registration continues through this coming Wednesday, Nov. 20, for the Miss Merry Christmas Pageant hosted by the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce. The pageant is open to any junior high or high school girl living in Dawson County. Registration forms are available at the Chamber of Commerce office, 123 Main Ave. The pageant will be held on Dec. 14 at the Lamesa Community Players theater, 214 N. Austin Ave. The winner will receive a $1,000 scholarship to Howard College.
