Time flies, and before we know it, it will be 2020. But there’s one big event coming on the very last day of the year. It is the annual Boys and Girls Club Gala, which is being moved to New Year’s Eve. This is the club’s largest fundraiser. Last year’s Gala – with The Great Gatsby theme – raised almost $15,000. “We decided to move the event to New Year’s Eve to provide everyone a place to celebrate the New Year and help support a great cause,” said Tammy Wyatt, executive director. The announcement of ticket sales will be forthcoming.
