The Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a fireworks display at 11 p.m. on Dec. 31 at the rodeo grounds. Everyone is invited. “It’s kind of to say goodbye to the old and good luck to the new,” said chamber president Karen Mize. “Hopefully, 2021 will be better.” This is the first time the chamber has put on a New Year’s fireworks show.
