Only a few more Wednesdays are on the calendar for summer matinee films at Movieland Theater.The theater has opened its doors at 2 p.m. every Wednesday afternoon shortly after the 2023-2024 school year ended.There’s only two more matinees on the schedule before the season ends early next month.The next show is“ Kung Fu Panda 3” this Wednesday.“ The Little Rascals” is the last on the schedule when it makes an appearance on screen Aug. 7.Tickets are $5 at the door. Movieland Theater is located at 604 N Austin Ave.
