The last time many Lamesa High School graduates saw their former fellow schoolmates was at the Golden Tornado Jubilee in 2015. The Jubilee, held every five years, enables old classmates to get together to reminisce about the good ‘ole days. The event, for all former LHS students, was supposed to be held last year. It was rescheduled for this summer due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but eventually it was called off due to continued uncertainty about the COVID situation.
