A closed executive session is the only item for discussion during a special called meeting scheduled Thursday for the Dawson County Hospital District’s board of directors.
Council asked to reconsider decision on zoning request

A zoning request that has gone before Lamesa City Council members twice is again on the agenda for another public hearing 5:30 p.m. and action this coming Tuesday.

The two women told me about the bear when I was on my hike.
They were on trail bikes and saw the bear in the direction I was headed. “It was scary!” one of the women said.

Policy, agreements on county’s agenda

Revisions to the county’s pipeline policy and several agreements between the county and City of Lamesa will be considered Tuesday by the Dawson County Commissioners Court.
Local offices, schools closing for Labor Day

While some businesses will remain open on Monday, practically all governmental offices and schools in and around Lamesa will be closed for the Labor Day holiday.
