Area football looking good for fall

Youth softball learns from tourney
Although they failed to bring home any awards from last weekend’s West Texas USA Youth All-Star Softball Tournament at San Angelo, the general consensus among three of the local teams’ coaches is that their squads came back a lot better players than when they left.
LMS moving 6th, 7th grades

In a discussion-only session Thursday, Lamesa school board members pondered the question facing anyone with teenagers: How do you get them to put away their cell phones during class time?
County still assessing damage
