Man arrested for fatal crash
A man has been arrested in Monahans after allegedly driving away from the scene of a collision south of Lamesa this past Tuesday morning that claimed the life of a local man.

As part of the fun of the community pep rally Wednesday night at Tornado Stadium, Lamesa High School junior Isaiah Flores endures a radical make-up session while his best friend, football player Keeton Bolton, wears a blind fold while applying eye shadow and lipstick without looking. Players from each high school class participated in the beauty session on the sidelines during part of the festivities leading up to Friday night’s homecoming game. Audience members selected Isaiah as the winner of the beauty contest.
Commissioners to eye grant, voting location
A grant and a voting location will be among the items facing members of the Dawson County Commissioners Court when they meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday in the county courtroom on the third floor of the courthouse.
