Dear EditorEditor, Last week a family member of mine was involved in an altercation in which he was assaulted with a pipe and suffered serious bodily injuries. After the assailant was identified, he was arrested by the Police Department but the county jail would not accept the accused assailant because someone from the county jail said they were full. My question is who exactly is making the decisions whether someone is accepted or not by the jail? It would seem to me that someone accused and arrested for using a deadly weapon and causing serious injury should have been accepted ...
