Editor, I want to thank you for printing my letter about Dwight Heins’ articles on Lamesa athletic greats of the past, but after reading the letter in the paper I saw a mistake I had made. I wrote that Lamesa had great baseball teams from 1970-1975, which they did, but I meant to say that they had great basketball teams from 1970-1975. I apologize for the confusion.
